After Partition of India-Pakistan, Thousand families migrated from both countries. Government sheltered them as refugees in India. "Bhavesh Chandra Paul" was one of them. In August 1948, he migrated to Jabalpur. After two month he started selling of Bengali Rosgulla in a very small level.

After die-hard struggle, in 1954 "Bhavesh Chandra Paul" started his first shop Anand Bhog. After Success of this shop he launched another sweets shop Anand Bhandar in 1956. After that he didn't looked back and stepped up the ladder of success.

In 1976 Mr. Paul entered his first step into Hotel Business with the domain Hotel Anand.  Mr. Paul's sons have learnt the art of business now. In 1976 below Anand Hotel, Paul family open two shops named Roopali Restaurant and Anand Sweets.

After death of B.C. Paul in 1986 his sons taken the charge of the business, In 1990 they started Hotel Roopali and Roopali Inn Restaurant with full of all modern amenities.

After that they launched a Construction Company Roopali Promoter and Construction Company with the aim of "Luxury and Comfort at Economical Rates".

Paul Family is now one of the prestigious families and Roopali Business Group is a leading business house in Jabalpur city.
